Eric,

Hope you like this new version. I used your notes to go through section by section to hit the major points of the story you wrote about. I’m pushing forward into the rest of the film today (Sunday) while you review this new version of the forest scene. The rest of the film isn’t constant music all the way through it didn’t seem, but any notes you want to me to make sure I hit a certain scene or story points, just let me know and I’ll be sure to address them. Whispers of Loss - Score Review Scene #1_v2.1: The Forrest

Eric,

I had some challenges today (Monday) that delayed progress, those issues are resolved and will not present any problems for the remainder of the project. Because of the delay, I pulled an all night-er getting this “Forest Scene” completed. (It’s now 6am on Tuesday).

This is the forest scene with the musical score in the style of the demo I originally sent you. The difference here is that I used that same demo as a stylistic guide, and recomposed and expanded that into this scene from the ground up, while keeping the melodic and rhythmic motifs and greatly refining and expanding on those ideas. That included recording live guitars and mandolin, and the virtual orchestration and production for the rest of the music. I really wanted to follow the mother musically through her journey through the forest, so there’s a lot more story to the score vs the demo.
