WHITE VINEGAR
Directed by Yvonne Winfrey Produced by The UNcollective Productions (US)
A savvy young African American woman pursuing her master's in a racist college town has more than her wits tested when she is abducted by a deranged local.
“…This was an immensely fulfilling project for me. Not only was the score and subject matter extremely challenging, but there is music in this film that I never dreamed would come from ME. To say nothing of the amazing collaborator and friend that I now have in Yvonne; who is an accomplished musician herself. She placed a great deal of trust in me to be able to both create original music and also weave in themes from her own music which features throughout the film. She both embraced and encouraged my artistic style and story immersive sound design esthetics. This I will never forget, and we bonded over shared love of all kinds of music, and developed a language for it we both immediately understand. I feel very grateful”
