I make noise so you can tell your stories!
Brian L.H. Gunter is a passionate and experienced film composer. When in his element, Brian is blending symphonic and chamber scoring orchestras with modern synth and guitar. Brian strives to approach each score fresh with his own style while leaning into his influences like Benjamin Wallfisch, Alan Silvestri, Nicholas Britel, Ludwig Göransson, or James Newton Howard, grounding each score with Brian’s own twisted take on story immersive sound design.

Watch the trailer for the upcoming supernatural thriller “Mr.Rogers”
I’m so thrilled to announce the official trailer and poster release for a short film I worked on as composer and dialogue editor!
The film is “Mr Rogers”, and it is based in part on a popular African children’s rhyme. Written and directed by the VERY talented @danielehimen - Produced and filmed by PI Image Productions in Lagos, Nigeria.
Mr Rogers explores themes of familial bonds, ancestral legacies, and the enduring power of love in the face of darkness. Through its spine-chilling narrative and atmospheric setting, the film delves into the complexities of the human spirit and the secrets that lie buried within the recesses of soul.
It was really challenging and exciting to produce a score with a blend of orchestral and traditional African instruments and themes, as well as some signature sound design (like electric kalimba!)
